Nitrogen Supply Affects Grain Yield by Regulating Antioxidant Enzyme Activity and Photosynthetic Capacity of Maize Plant in the Loess Plateau

چکیده
Nitrogen (N) is the most limiting nutrient for maize, and appropriate N fertilization can promote maize growth yield. The effect of fertilizer rates timings on morphology, antioxidant enzymes, grain yield (Zea mays L.) in Loess Plateau China was evaluated. four levels, i.e., 0 (N0), 100 (N1), 200 (N2), 300 (N3) kg ha?1, were applied at two (T1, one-third sowing two-thirds six-leaf stage maize; T2, sowing, stage, eleven-leaf maize). results show that N2 N3 significantly increased plant height, stem leaf dry weight, area index compared with a non-N-fertilized control (N0). net photosynthetic rate, transpiration stomatal conductance, chlorophyll contents lower, while intercellular carbon dioxide concentration higher non-fertilized plants to fertilized plants. activities peroxidase (POD) superoxide dismutase (SOD) but difference between ha?1 not significant; further, isozyme bands POD SOD also changed their activities. Compared control, by 2.76- 3.11-fold 2018, 2.74- 2.80-fold 2019, 2.71- 2.89-fold 2020, there no significant N3. application timing only affected 2018. In conclusion, through optimizing enzyme system, increasing capacity, promoting matter accumulation. Further research necessary evaluate response more cultivars under seasons validate obtained.

Soil Tillage Management Affects Maize Grain Yield by Regulating Spatial Distribution Coordination of Roots, Soil Moisture and Nitrogen Status
The spatial distribution of the root system through the soil profile has an impact on moisture and nutrient uptake by plants, affecting growth and productivity. The spatial distribution of the roots, soil moisture, and fertility are affected by tillage practices. The combination of high soil density and the presence of a soil plow pan typically impede the growth of maize (Zea mays L.).We invest...
متن کاملMixed Compound of DCPTA and CCC Increases Maize Yield by Improving Plant Morphology and Up-Regulating Photosynthetic Capacity and Antioxidants
DCPTA (2-diethylaminoethyl-3, 4-dichlorophenylether) and CCC (2-chloroethyltrimethyl- ammonium chloride) have a great effect on maize growth, but applying DCPTA individually can promote the increase of plant height, resulting in the rise of lodging percent. Plant height and lodging percent decrease in CCC-treated plants, but the accumulation of biomass reduce, resulting in yield decrease. Based...
متن کاملZnO affects soybean grain yield, oil quantity and quality and leaf antioxidant activity in drought stress conditions
Lack of available water in arid and semi-arid regions has a negative effect on the production of soybean (Glycine max L.). Nano zinc chelate (ZnO) has the potential to alleviate this issue through overcoming zinc deficiency and thereby improve plant function. Therefore, to evaluate the effectiveness of ZnO application on soybean in drought stress conditions, a split-plot experiment based on ran...
متن کاملHow Fencing Affects the Soil Quality and Plant Biomass in the Grassland of the Loess Plateau
Overgrazing is a severe problem in several regions in Northwestern China and has caused serious land degradation. Secondary natural succession plays an important role in the accumulation of soil carbon and nitrogen contents. Estimating the effects of grazing exclusion on soil quality and plant diversity will improve our understanding of the succession process after overgrazing and promote judic...
